Spiritual healing is a complementary, holistic treatment that works to restore the balance of the body, mind and spirit of the recipient.

How does healing work?

An electromagnetic field surrounds and penetrates the physical body. Studies of this field have shown that it is associated with channels and energy points throughout the body.

It is within and with this field that a healer works to clear and release blockages, and to rebalance the flow of energies.

The healing energy itself comes not from the healer, but from the Universal Source of Peace, Love and Wisdom, with the healer connecting to the Source through meditative intention and then directing that energy with the intention of benefiting another human, animal, plant or situation.

Scientific research has shown that during a healing treatment the brain wave patterns of healer and receiver synchronise in the alpha state which is characteristic of meditation and relaxation.

Studies have also shown that brain wave patterns of healers at work pulse in unison with the earth’s magnetic field, known as the Schumann Resonance.

Healing works on humans, plants, animals and even on human tissue in petri dishes.

As a result of medical evidence over the years, the National Health Service in the UK lists spiritual healing as an official therapy which doctors are permitted to refer patients for. Similarly the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons also raises no objection to spiritual healing as a complementary treatment for animals alongside veterinary care.
